INDIANAPOLIS – Hoosiers interested in representing Indiana as delegates to the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago can learn more about the process by attending one of four training sessions from the Indiana Democratic Party this fall.
IDP staff and volunteers will hold training sessions in Northern Indiana, Central Indiana, Southern Indiana, and a statewide virtual event on Zoom by October 11.
Becoming a delegate means the opportunity to be there when nominating the presidential Democratic nominee and approving the national party platform.
These trainings will cover the basics of the delegate selection process, and key dates and timelines potential delegates will want to know.
The dates, times and locations of the trainings are listed below:
The IDP is committed to having a delegation that reflects and represents Indiana in Chicago.
Indiana’s delegate selection plan for DNC 2024 can be viewed on the party’s website or by clicking here. Materials on the site include flyers to promote these trainings and to encourage participation by Hoosiers across the state.
